Workplace Green Up is back! This program supports Green Economy London members to embed sustainability into their work culture by engaging employees in sustainability activities. These activities are designed to be easily incorporated into daily work habits, helping to make sustainability a natural part of the workplace.
This year Workplace Green Up will run from November 1st to 30th and members earn points by completing sustainability activities focusing on our four target areas: GHG emissions reduction, environmental stewardship, waste reduction and diversion, and water conservation.
How to Participate:
- All employees are encouraged to participate however, businesses with more than five employees must have at least 2 employees participate per organization.
- Email Margarita, margarita@londonenvironment.net, to indicate that your organization will be participating.
To Earn Points:
- Share photos and/or videos of them completing activities on Instagram or LinkedIn and tag Green Economy London and use the hashtag #WorkplaceGreenUp2025 or;
- Email submissions to Margarita (margarita@londonenvironment.net)
- Points are tailed per organization that completes an activity and not per individual.
*Note: We will not be using Facebook to track participation so activities posted on that platform will not be viewed
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! Each will receive a physical award to proudly display at your workplace, along with some extra surprise prizes to make your achievement even more special.
