The Junction Climbing Centre was established in 2014 with the goal of bringing to London a premier indoor climbing facility. Since opening it has become a vibrant hub of activity, with hundreds of climbers gathering each week to enjoy Junction’s soaring, striking, climbing terrain, and bright, modern space. In 2022 the Junction opened J2 Bouldering in Hyde Park, London’s only facility dedicated to this fast-growing side of the sport.

Built in a converted steel manufacturing facility in London’s Old East Village, the Junction took advantage of its 20,000 square-foot roof to install a solar generation system. It has indoor bike storage at both of its locations and hosts a drop-box site for a climbing shoe resoling program.

Future projects will include enhanced insulation of its building, upgraded HVAC systems at J2, a pollinator garden, and EV chargers.
