This five-year $1.5 billion program will support green and accessible retrofits, repairs or upgrades of existing public community buildings and the construction of new publicly-accessible community buildings that serve high-needs, underserved communities across Canada. The GICB Program funds two types of projects: 1) Retrofits, repairs and upgrades to existing community buildings and; 2) The construction of new community building. Types of projects are seperated based on amount of funding (the higher the funding, the more compeititve).
