Green Leader Awards: Recognizing businesses in the Green Economy London program
- Green Innovation
- Congratulations to GreenTech Painting! They developed the Roll & Brush washing machine to reduce water usage by up to 90% in the brush cleaning process, and use CO2-absorbing paints and plant trees with every project.
- Rookie of the Year
- Congratulations to Dough EV! They launched a delivery e-bike, which reduced deliveries by car by 150 km/ month.
- Environmental Steward of the Year
- Congratulations to Lerners, the first law firm / legal services member of GEL that set and achieved the “Platinum” Environmental Stewardship goal right after joining.
- Circularity Award
- Congratulations to Heeman’s! In the fall of 2024, they revived their plastic recycling program in collaboration with other community organizations, successfully collecting 18,000 pounds of plastic pots, trays, and tags.
- Green Project Implementation Award
- Congratulations to both the London Bike Café & Clayworx for winning this award!
Environmental Network Awards: Recognizing nonprofits and individuals within the London community
- Outstanding Member Award
- Congratulations to the Thames Talbot Land Trust! Also known as TTLT, they are an established and highly capable land protection organization that has built a strong community presence through a variety of educational and hands-on volunteer opportunities.
- Community Impact Award
- Congratulations to ALUS Middlesex! ALUS Middlesex created a Wildlife Monitoring Program, and purchased a nest box and trail camera to passively document on-site wildlife activity.
- Community Choice Award
- Congratulations to Shely! Shely K. launched a campus wide lab coat recycling program to divert landfill waste.
